Some factors that are taken into consideration when setting the price for your policy are fixed, and others are adjustable. Accepting higher deductibles may lower your premium costs. Read on for some ways to reduce the price you pay for San Antonio auto insurance.
Just because auto insurance is cheap, does not mean it does not warrant further investigation. Sometimes you really get what you pay for. Research the company first and examine the policy closely for any hidden details, before purchasing a policy.
Take the time to identify what you need your auto insurance policy to cover. While many insurance options are available, some do not make sense. However, if you own a valuable car and fear that you might get into an accident one day, obtaining collision coverage could give you peace of mind.
Of course, you will pay more due to your record, but not all insurance companies calculate premiums the same way. The are even some insurance companies that concentrate on providing decent coverage for people with driving record problems.
If you want lower car insurance premiums, think about raising the deductibles of the policy. When you pay a higher deductible, you will often pay a lower monthly bill because the insurance company is betting that you will not file any small claims. However, you should realize that a higher deductible means that you will have to pay more each time you file a claim.
There are wide variations among insurance carriers. If you don’t like the first quote you get, request quotes from other insurance companies.
Look into 100/200/100 liability coverage if you have minimal assets and a decent car. Most states require a minimum level of liability coverage, so it is important that your policy meets these stipulated levels.
Auto insurance can save your life in the event of an accident. Having the right coverages and insurance options ensures you get the financial assistance you need. Use the tips you just read to obtain proper San Antonio auto insurance coverage.

Pumpkin bread is a fantastic dish to serve on slightly chilly autumn evenings when you just want to sit in front of the fire and savor the time with family and friends. This mouth-watering pumpkin bread recipe with canned pumpkin is simple to prepare and can be made ahead of time and stored. The spices added to this bread can help keep you warm from the inside-out and the pumpkin is rich in anti-oxidants (half a cup of canned pumpkin = 3.5 grams of fiber).
Items you will need for this pumpkin bread recipe:
- Third (1/3) of a cup of vegetable oil
- Quarter (1/4) of a cup of water
- 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
- One cup of sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon of sodium bicarbonate
- Quarter of a teaspoon of grated cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of grated nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon of grated ginger
- Eighth (1/8) of a teaspoon of grated cloves
- Half a teaspoon of salt (a pinch)
- One (1) egg
- Five hundred grams of canned pumpkin
To make the puree:
- Take the canned pumpkin and boil it in water for a few minutes until tender.
- Remove the pumpkin pieces from the water and put them in a blender.
- Blend on medium to maximum speed to make the puree.
- Strain the puree through a sieve to get rid of any chunks. You’ll be left with a smooth puree.
To make the cake batter:
- Whisk the egg, vegetable oil and water using a food processor or blender. It isn’t going to mix properly, but you’ll get an emulsion.
- Add the sugar and mix well ’til the sugar dissolves and you get a fluffy, gooey sort of texture.
- Add the prepared pumpkin puree and mix well to form a batter that is smooth and a little orange in color. Ensure there are no lumps and the sugar is dissolved fully. You can even set it aside for 1 or 2 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a separate bowl, mix the measured flour, grated nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, sodium bicarbonate and salt.
- Add this mix to the prepared mix, one tablespoon at a time, and blend well at medium speed. This will incorporate some air in the bread and also mix the spices well.
- Grease one bread loaf pan with some butter and lightly dust flour over it. This will prevent the bread from sticking to the sides of the pan when cooking.
- Pour the prepared batter in the bread tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180C for 45-50 minutes.
- When the top is firm and springy, the bread is done.
- Cool on a wire rack before cutting in slices to serve.
