Niles – State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Chicago), the city of Niles, and the Niles Police Dept. are partnering together to host a free, drive-through prescription drug drop off event with the Niles Police Department on Wednesday, August 19th.
Residents are invited to drop off expired or unused medications to be properly disposed of. Accepted items that residents may drop off include prescription medications, prescription ointments and patches, vitamins and pet medicines. Restricted items include hypodermic needles and illegal drugs.
DATE: Wednesday, August 19, 2020
TIME: 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M.
LOCATION: Niles Police Department, 7000 W. Touhy Ave, Niles
Guests can practice social distancing and will not have to leave their car. Just follow the marked lanes into the parking lot and drop your items into a collection bin. The items will be safely disposed of during the drop off.
