ROSEMONT – State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Rosemont) joined the Illinois House Republican Caucus in launching Reimagine Illinois. This comprehensive platform outlines the House Republicans’ priorities for the 102nd General Assembly, asking Illinoisans to reimagine their government in Springfield if certain public policy goals are met.
“Reimagine Illinois is a commitment to reforms that we are making as members of the Illinois House Republican Caucus,” Rep. Stephens said. “Though we face challenges of irresponsibly managed finances, population loss, and government corruption, we can choose to move towards a future of prosperity. By achieving progress through principles, we can make the changes that will reform our state and reimagine Illinois as a place more people call home.”
Reimagine Illinois has four components, each component including a list of introduced bills. The four components are:
- Ending the culture of corruption
- Responsible fiscal leadership
- Growing jobs and opportunities for our families
- Ensuring public safety
