CHICAGO – Following the fatal shooting that took the life of one man and wounded another individual at the Rosemont Fashion Outlets on Friday night, State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Rosemont) and State Senator Robert Martwick (D-Chicago) released the following statement:
“We are heartbroken to hear of another senseless shooting where someone’s life was taken in a crowded public setting. Thank you to all area first responders who responded and safely cleared the mall and to the Cook County Sheriff’s police with an assist from the Bellwood Police Department in locating the vehicle involved with the incident. Police are continuing to follow leads and investigate the incident.”
