CHICAGO – Next Friday, State Representative Brad Stephens is hosting a Senior Fair and Food Drive in Norridge. He invites 20th District constituents to join him from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at the Salvation Army Norridge Citadel Community Corps (8354 W. Foster Ave.) on Friday, April 29th for this event.
“Our seniors have been through so much the past two years and I’m glad to host this event to connect them with the amazing organizations we have in the 20th District and Illinois for our senior community,” said Stephens. “I’m also glad to host a food drive to help those in need in our community. I invite all who can to stop by and bring food for those in need if possible!”
Over 36 vendors will be at the event, including the Illinois Department on Aging, the Office of the Illinois Treasurer, and the Illinois Secretary of State. I-Cash, photo ID’s (not REAL ID), prescription drug collection (no needles/liquids), and chair massages will also be available at this event. Health screenings include blood pressure, posture, video otoscopy, and colorectal cancer screenings and information will be available for veterans’ assistance, fire safety, and more. Those interested in bringing food for the food drive can bring unexpired canned goods, cooking oil, cereal, toiletries, and toilet paper.
