CHICAGO – This month, State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Rosemont) and Cook County Commissioner Peter Silvestri (R-Franklin Park) are hosting a baby supply drive for WINGS Program. This event will be held on Saturday, May 14th from 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon at Rep. Stephens’ district office (5515 N. East River Road, Chicago).
“Raising a child is a challenge and it is compounded for single parents or parents in difficult situations,” said Rep. Stephens. “I’m glad to be hosting this baby supply drive with Commissioner Silvestri to help mothers in our communities in need of this important resource for their families.”
“Wings provides essential and necessary assistance for women and children in dire need. I am proud to partner with State Representative Stephens in this event to collect much needed baby supplies and thank all our participants for their generosity,” said Commissioner Silvestri.
Diapers (sizes 4, 5, or 6), pull-ups (sizes 4/5, small, or large), wipes, and/or baby bottles can be dropped off at the parking lot outside of Rep. Stephens’ and Commissioner Silvestri’s office. Participants are asked to please enter the parking lot off Gregory Street, north of the district office.
People can also send baby supplies via delivery by purchasing items from online retailers and addressing them to Rep. Brad Stephens, 5515 N. East River Road, Chicago, Illinois, 60656.
