State Representative Brad Stephens is hosting a back-to-school health and resource fair to help families throughout his 20th legislative district prepare for the upcoming school year. Rep. Stephens will be hosting the event with the Salvation Army, Village of Norridge, ICU Community, and Access to Care to provide community resources, health services, and school-readiness support. The free event will be held on:
Thursday, August 6th
2:00pm—6:00pm
Salvation Army, Norridge Citadel, 8354 W Foster Ave
Attendees will have access to vaccines, vision screenings for children ages 6 months — 6 years old, children’s haircuts, and guidance from area organizations on more helpful resources.
“As we prepare for a new school year, we want every child to start the year healthy, confident, and ready to learn,” said Rep. Stephens. “I encourage families to take advantage of this one stop shop before the school year beings.”
With questions about the event, residents are encouraged to contact Rep. Stephens’ district office at 773-444-0611.
