Call will feature experts from the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Bankers Association, and the Small Business Administration; will focus on the economic impacts of COVID-19.
Chicago…State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Chicago) will host a telephone townhall on Thursday April 2 at 10:30am to 11:30am. The call will focus on economic issues facing businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic and will be co-hosted by Jack Lavin from the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce, Ben Jackson from the Illinois Bankers Association (IBA), and a representative from the Small Business Administration (SBA).
“I know businesses in our community are under tremendous strain due to Covid-19. I want to make sure they are all aware of the various new programs that have come out of Washington D.C., and Springfield to hopefully help ease the burden as well as have a dialogue to make sure we are doing everything in our power to mitigate the impacts of this virus,” Stephens said.
The experts will provide updates and explanations of the State and Federal initiatives and resources available to help businesses and their employees during this time.
