SPRINGFIELD – This week, State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Rosemont) welcomed Nina Kremidas and Elizabeth Murray-Belcaster to the Women to Watch event in Springfield. The event brought together notable women from across the state who enjoyed a breakfast, a tour of the Capitol, a networking lunch, and an information seminar presented by other women leaders.
“It was a privilege to have Nina Kremidas and Elizabeth Murray-Belcaster join us for the Women to Watch event in Springfield,” said Rep. Stephens. “Liz and Nina are truly ‘women to watch’ in our community, working hard to improve the lives of others in their own unique ways.”
Nina Kremidas is the Director of Activities at Ascension Living Resurrection Village, a retirement living campus that offers both independent and assisted living in Chicago’s Norwood Park community. Elizabeth Murray-Belcaster is the President of EMB Consultants, specializing in workforce development and training programs for military veterans. Elizabeth is also the co-founder of the Northwest Side Irish Parade.
Rep. Stephens concluded, “Women to Watch was an incredible event that highlighted the talents, sacrifices, and accomplishments of women such as Liz and Nina who spend each day working to improve the lives of our veterans, seniors, and all Illinoisans. Both of these remarkable women are invaluable contributors within their respective fields, and I am grateful that they were recognized accordingly.”
Nina and Elizabeth were two of nearly 50 women from across Illinois who were in attendance for this year’s Women to Watch event. The positive impacts each of these women has had on their communities were honored at the breakfast by House Minority Leader Tony McCombie.
