Rep. Stephens to Host Blood Drive in Norridge

State Representative Brad Stephens (R-Rosemont) will be hosting a blood drive with Vitalant this month. The event will take place on Thursday, February 25th at the Salvation Army Citadel Corps in Norridge, 8354 W Foster, from 12:30 PM – 5:30 PM.

“During this time, it’s great to know that residents of the 20th District can donate blood to help save lives,” Rep. Stephens said. “Following Valentine’s Day, it will certainly be heartwarming to see the kindness and generosity in our communities as residents donate a life-giving gift, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.”

As a safety precaution, donations will be by appointment only (no walk-ins) and face coverings will be required. Free COVID-19 antibody testing is also available to all donors, with results confidentially delivered two weeks later.

To make an appointment, please visit Vitalant.org, click “Donate Now,” select option as appropriate, and enter group code 053B at the bottom of your screen.

Spots are limited, so interested residents should make an appointment as soon as possible. Donations are in high demand during this pandemic.

Constituent questions are welcome. Constituents can contact Rep. Stephens at stephens@ilhousegop.org or by calling (773) 444-0611.
